I can’t believe September is almost over! My gosh, that went by super quickly. Anyway, today I wanted to share some things I’m loving lately. I love reading other people’s roundups because I always get ideas of things to check out, so I hope this is helpful for you too. Without further ado, here are some of my current favorites for September.
Must Have Box
If you follow me on Snapchat, you might have seen me excitedly unboxing this item. Popsugar recently sent me their September Must Have Box to try and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a subscription service that sends you a box of beauty, style, home and even food-related goodies every month. I’ve already used almost everything in the September box, which includes the perfect black hat for fall that I wore the day I took it out of the box, a cute little travel-sized retractable lint roller, a Smith and Cult lip gloss in a sexy shade of red, a very sensible mini-manicure kit, some hair conditioner and finally, gluten-free coconut dark chocolate bites!
They were also kind enough to give me a discount code for my readers, in case you’d like to try. If you use the code SHOP5 you can get $5 off your first box when you sign up here!
OK. How do I explain this? 10Q is a series of 10 questions that get emailed to you over a period of 10 days. The questions encourage you to reflect on experiences, goals, challenges, etc. that you’ve had over the last year. After the 10 days, you can’t see your answers again until they get sent to you the following year. And usually, by the time they show up, you’ll have forgotten about it. But it’s always so interesting to look back at who you were and what you were thinking about then.
It’s starting up again on October 2, so make sure to sign up here. It’s completely free and it only takes a few minutes to answer the question each day — although you have to be on top of it because if you miss the window to answer the vault closes and you can’t go back and respond after that. Yup, that’s happened to me before. 🙁
I’ve been doing the workouts on this YouTube channel on and off for at least a year now. Cassey Ho, the creator of Blogilates is a certified pilates instructor who’s created her own style of upbeat pilates. I especially love her daily playlists, which have 4-5 different videos targeting a specific body part each day. It’s so great getting up every morning and having a workout plan already made for me. Kind of like having a personal trainer, but for free! And despite her girly, bubbly demeanor, those workouts are intense! I secretly curse her while I’m struggling on my mat, but I actually feel myself getting stronger whenever I do the workouts consistently.
I was totally late to the game, but I used one of these for the first time on my trip to Chicago and it’s changed my life. I managed to fit all my clothes for 5 days into one cube that kept everything flat and contained and saved so much space in my tiny carry-on bag. I can’t imagine ever traveling without it again! I got this set from Amazon, which has been amazing, but there are so many options online.
Ok, I’m assuming the entire internet has already watched this because it was all anyone could talk about a few weeks ago. I actually watched the entire season on Netflix in two days (*hides face in shame*). But just in case you haven’t seen it and need more convincing, I’m here to tell you to watch it now. It’s SOO good! The characters, the story, everything! As a lover of thrillers and all things horror, this was right up my alley and had me on the edge of my seat. Has anybody else watched? If not, what are you waiting for??
What other shows are you loving lately? I’m always looking for recommendations.
